100+ PS5 games and Xbox Series X games secretly listed on Amazon – Report

If you’re curious about the upcoming PS5 games or Xbox Series X games — some of which are sure to be revealed at tomorrow’s PS5 event — then you’ll be happy to hear that a lot of new games are reportedly on the way.

Someone at Amazon UK slipped up and posted a bunch of placeholder listings for games from 2K, Rockstar, Bandai Namco, Koch, Bethesda, and Konami. That gives us a slight hint as to what to expect, but it barely grasps the full scope of things.

“On Amazon.co.uk there are 118 dummy listings for PS5 & 132 for XSX [including] consoles, (unnamed) games & accessories,” states a comment on Reddit. “Also about 170 dummy listings for current-gen games.”

The Reddit explains that he works with Amazon and has limited access to behind-the-scenes information. While he does have numbers for the listings on Amazon UK, he doesn’t have much in the way of specifics. These are reportedly placeholders (just like the smaller number of confirmed listings), so we can’t trust that the information is going to be 100% accurate for launch day.

He also cautions that these might not represent 100+ individual games; one game could have multiple listings for various different special editions or collector’s editions. Either way, the reported amount of secretly-listed games on Amazon certainly seems impressive.

That said, I wouldn’t be surprised if we saw at least a few of these new PS5 games go up for pre-order during tomorrow’s PS5 event. What those games are or how much they’ll cost, however, will be a secret until they’re revealed.
