Respawn Teasing Impending Announcement, Titanfall Beta Incoming? [Update: Confirmed, Xbox 360 Dev Revealed]

[Update] Just as we all suspected, Titanfall will be getting a beta on Xbox One and PC. Zampella confirmed the news on Twitter, promising to reveal more information "in the coming days."

In addition, the developer behind the Xbox 360 version of Titanfall has been confirmed to be Bluepoint Games, the same studio that crafted some of the best HD remakes of the last generation, including the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection and ICO & Shadow of the Colossus HD Collection. This is great news for those who have yet to upgrade to Xbox One.

[Original] Respawn Entertainment's Vince Zampella has taken to Twitter to tease an announcement that will be made by the studio soon. I don't know about you, but I'd be willing to bet it has something to do with the heavily-rumored Titanfall beta.

 

I'm going to go ahead and assume that Zampella is being sarcastic when he says "I'm sure no one can guess what it will be…" as talk of a beta for gamers has been tossed around for quite some time. It would certainly be a great way to drum up excitement for the next-gen shooter.
