Rumor: The Last of Us Sequel in Development for 2015 Release

Word has it that Naughty Dog is already working on a followup to last year's hit title The Last of Us.

According to OmeleteThe Last of Us 2 is currently in the works at the studio, with a targeted release date of sometime in 2015. With a new entry in the Uncharted franchise currently in the works at Naughty Dog and still more DLC on the way for The Last of Us, it's hard to believe that the studio will have a proper sequel ready to go by sometime next year, so I suggest you take this report with a grain of salt.

IGN reached out to Sony for comment on the rumor, to which the company replied with the expected: "Thanks for reaching out. However, we do not comment on rumor or speculation."

Would you like to see a sequel to The Last of Us, or should Naughty Dog let that story stand the way it is and move on to something completely new?
