Pachter: “PlayStation Now Is a Joke… Has No Prayer of Working”

Wedbush Securities analyst Michael Pachter doesn't believe Sony's cloud-based streaming service will prove to be successful, going so far as to call it a "joke."

In the latest issue of Game Informer, Pachter explains:

PlayStation Now is a joke. There is no publisher that is going to license content that's less than two-years old because they would be concerned that they can't sell as many copies if they make it available for subscription or rental.

This has no prayer of working. None.

That seems awfully harsh, Mr. Pachter.

Do you think PlayStation Now will be a hit for Sony? If you haven't already seen the leaked footage of Killzone 3 in action on the service, be sure to check it out right here.
