Atlus Launches Streaming Persona Stalker Club to Capitalize on Persona 5 & Persona Q Excitement

Atlus announced several games at the end of November 2013 in an epic three-day countdown tease marathon, but now the company hopes to capitalize on its popularity with a new Persona themed variety show dubbed Persona Stalker Club.

The streaming show was detailed on the Persona website today and is a direct result of the massive response fans had for the company's live-stream up to the midnight reveal of Persona 5.

The stream will detail new content and information about upcoming Persona games, including Persona 5, Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth, and the Persona 4 dancing game announced for PlayStation Vita.

Persona Stalker Club aims to involve fans to grow the program and deepen ties viewers have with the franchise. The show will air on Friday, February 28th, and though a time was not given it will be viewable on Japan's Nico Nico Douga streaming video service, just like the original Persona 5 teas-athon.

Persona 5 is Japan's most-wanted video game and despite the ongoing excitement surround PS4, will only launch on PS3 in the far east this winter. Persona 5 details have been scarce, at least since the teaser trailer, but that's probably how fans want it as Persona's growing base is full of impassioned gamers.

Recently, series director Katsura Hashino related that Persona 5's theme would make fans feel "right at home" despite the team aiming for a more "approachable" game compared to past entries in the series.
