Dead Space Currently Free on Origin

Visceral Games' stellar sci-fi horror game Dead Space is currently free on Origin as part of EA's "On the House" program.

According to the publisher, more free games will be coming, but you'll want to act fast, as these deals "can appear and disappear at any time." Once you've downloaded the game to your account, it's yours to keep forever.

While Origin is far from a perfect service (especially compared to Steam) it's great to see Electronic Arts throw PC gamers a bone and serve up some free content. Sure, the game may be quite old at this point, but it's a true gem from the PS3/Xbox 360 era that no one should miss.

You can claim your free copy right here.
