Patrick Redding joined Ubisoft Montreal in 2004 to develop the Far Cry franchise, but it was discovered this week that the outspoken narrative and game director has moved to Warner Bros Montreal.

Redding has pushed to further the narratives players discover in games, but what he'll be up to at Warner Bros Montreal remains a mystery. Redding's credits include Far Cry 2 and Splinter Cell: Blacklist.

Could Redding have landed a job developing more Batman games for Warner Bros? Maybe Redding is now working on ensuring a potential Justice League (or other DC Comics property) has a strong narrative like Rocksteady's Batman games.
