H1Z1 Is Sony’s New Free-to-Play MMO for PC and PS4

Sony Online Entertainment has announced that it's working on a post-apocalyptic zombie MMO game for PC and PlayStation 4. It's called H1Z1, and will be free-to-play with a microtransaction model and absolutely no subscription fee.

"It’s a massively multiplayer game in which players fight for survival in a world where death is the only sure thing," SOE president John Smedley explained. "The H1Z1 virus devastated mankind and left nothing but death and destruction in its wake and a world nearly empty of human life where the remnants of humanity are in a fight against extinction against those infected with the virus."

There's a good chance we'll be hearing a lot more about this ambitious massively multiplayer online game in the very near future, so stay tuned to GameRevolution for more details. In the meantime, let us know what you think of the concept of H1Z1 in the comments below.
