Mass Effect 4 “Somewhere in the Middle” of Development

BioWare has shed a bit of light on the current status of its next entry in the Mass Effect franchise.

In response to a fan on Twitter, BioWare Montreal studio director Yanick Roy revealed that while the team isn't particularly early on in development, it's not nearing the end of the process either.

 

We still don't know much about the next proper installment in BioWare's beloved sci-fi role-playing series aside from the fact that it won't star Commander Shepard. In what direction would you like to see the studio take the franchise?
