The Evil Within Pushed to October 21, Pre-Order Bonuses Revealed

Originally slated for August 26, The Evil Within has been delayed almost exactly two months to October 21 in North America, October 23 in Australia, and October 24 in Europe on PS4, Xbox One, PC, PS3, and Xbox 360.

Needing more time "to further balance and refine the game," Shinji Mikami's Tango Gameworks believes that the extra window of time will allow them to revive the survival-horror genre properly.

In addition, the game's pre-order incentive entitled The Fighting Chance Pack will provide players with extra goodies when they being the title, including a medical kit for health, green gel for upgrades, a double barrel shotgun with three bullets, and two elemental agony bolts.
