Sacred 3 Will Release in Early August

Deep Silver has an August 5 release date for the upcoming Sacred 3. It's been quite a while, six years in fact, since Sacred 2: Fallen Angel. Sacred 3 will have players revisit the fantastical world of Ancaria where they must battle against Emperor Zane, hopefully with friends with the title's seamless drop-in/drop-out co-op gameplay.

Sacred 3 will also have exclusive bonuses for fans in North America who pre-order the title, with the ability to play as a blood-magic Malakhim character, who joins the Seraphim, Ancarian, Khukuri, and Safiri as playable characters. GameStop pre-orders come with the Malakhim character, plus an Underworld Story mission pack and a Z4ngr13f Weapon Spirit. (No, that's not a spastic typo.)

New to the Sacred universe, Weapon Spirits are upgradeable and interchangeable, and some are derived from past characters that Sacred fans will recognize. Sacred 3 will release for Xbox 360, PS3, and PC.
