New Gauntlet Trailer Shows Elf Gameplay and Relics System

Right on the heels of the Electronic Entertainment Expo arriving in only five days (oh my), Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has graced us with a sneak peek into the upcoming reboot for Gauntlet with a trailer featuring the Elf and the new Relics system.

From the trailer posted above, every weapon and piece of armor in Gauntlet has a different look. The Relics seem to grant special powers, like the Elf creating clones of herself, the Valkyrie freezing goblins, and the Wizard blasting foes with spiraling pyromancy spells.

Featured with four-player co-op (as it should be), Gauntlet will be available at E3 in the WBIE Booth in the South Hall and will release on September 3. Pre-orders at select retailers will come with the free digital comic Gauntlet: Darkness Calls.
