PlayStation-Exclusive Destiny Content Detailed

We've known for quite some time that gamers who play Destiny on either PlayStation 3 or PS4 will get exclusive content not available in the Xbox versions, but since then we've been kept in the dark on exactly what that content will be. Now, just a few months ahead of its release, Bungie has lifted the veil.

Right at launch, the PlayStation faithful will have access to an exclusive co-op strike mission set on Mars, an exclusive competitive multiplayer map, and a bunch of unique guns, ships, and gear. The strike mission is called "Dust Palace Strike," which tasks a team of three players with tracking a Cabal extraction team through an ancient skyscraper.

The competitive multiplayer map, dubbed Exodus Blue, is set on a mid-sized ship that lends itself to Control and Skirmish game types. Plus, an exclusive assault rifle and handcannon, in addition to gear for each class, will be exclusive to PlayStation owners as well.

Is that enough to convince you to purchase either the PS3 or PS4 version of Destiny? Let us know which console you plan to buy the game for in the comments below.
