Microsoft's latest home console saw a significant spike in sales during the month of June, with sales more than doubling that of May's figure.
"Since the new Xbox One offering launched on June 9th," the company said on Xbox Wire, "we've seen sales of Xbox One more than double in the US, compared to sales in May, and solid growth in Xbox 360 sales."
With Phil Spencer now serving as the Head of Xbox and the company's overall renewed focused on gamers, it looks like Microsoft stands a good chance of turning this console war around and going toe-to-toe with Sony this holiday season. With both the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One priced at $399, we may see a closer battle this holiday season than previously expected.
Are you a proud owner of an Xbox One now that the price is a bit more reasonable?
