Destiny Beta Live Early for Xbox Owners

Bungie has brought the Destiny beta back online a bit earlier than expected, and this time, both PlayStation and Xbox gamers can get in on the fun.

"We know you've been waiting, so we busted our asses to finish our chores up early," Bungie explained in a post on its blog. "Every single Guardian with a pre-order code is welcome to join us in the Tower."

The studio also notes that there's more exciting stuff to come, as all of the beta's content has not yet been revealed. "If you've already played, you haven't seen everything yet. We've got some surprises in store, and if you play on Saturday, July 26th beginning at 2pm PDT, we've got a permanent reward on reserve that will commemorate the experience."

Get in while you can because the beta for Bungie's shared-world shooter ends on July 27th… unless of course the studio decides to extend it. Hey, I can dream, can't I?
