Development on The Witness Almost Complete

The Witness, an upcoming indie puzzle game from developer Jonathan Blow, is nearly complete and will hopefully be ready to launch before the end of 2014.

"Just wanted to do a quick post saying that we are all working hard on the game, figuring out some of the last unknowns and polishing things up," an update on the game's official site explained. "We are definitely in finish-the-game mode, that’s why the posts have gotten more rare."

To go along with the post, the developer included a brand-new screenshot of the game, which has been embedded below for your viewing pleasure. Enjoy.

The Witness still doesn't have a firm release date, but if things truly are progressing as well as Jonathan Blow's team would have us believe, there's a good chance PS4 owners will have an amazing 3D puzzle game to play before the year is over.
