Standalone Xbox One Kinect Coming This October for $150

Microsoft has announced that it will be selling Xbox One's Kinect sensor as a standalone product this October for the MSRP of $149.99.

The device will hit retailers on October 7th and come packed with a copy of Dance Central Spotlight, the latest installment in Harmonix's popular music rhythm series. While those who've already purchased an Xbox One without the Kinect will end up spending an additional $50 to get the sensor, hopefully the inclusion of Spotlight makes that pill a bit easier to swallow.

What do you think of Microsoft's pricing decision? Will consumers be willing to shell out $150 for the camera? Something tells me it won't be quite as hot an item as the original Kinect for Xbox 360.
