Resident Evil Revelations 2 Will Be Episodic [Update: New Screenshots Inside]

Capcom has announced that its upcoming sequel to Resident Evil Revelations will be rolled out in an episodic fashion.

The campaign of Resident Evil Revelations 2 will be dished out in four separate parts, with a week between the release of each new episode. Each chapter will be multiple hours in length and end on a cliffhanger to ensure gamers are hungry for the next episode the following week.

As one would expect, you'll be able to purchase a season pass and get access to all of the episodes as they are released, or, if you prefer, you can purchase each one individually. However, collectors need not worry, as a physical version will be available too. Following its digital release as weekly episodes, the full experience will be offered at retail on disc.
