PlayStation TV Launching This October With “Nearly 700 Games”

PlayStation TV, Sony's upcoming bite-sized game console, launches in just a few weeks. To build excitement for the device's release, Sony has shared a few new details on what gamers can expect when it hits store shelves on October 14.

According to the PlayStation manufacturer, the available library right out of the gate will be massive, with "nearly 700 games" ready to go on day one. Here's but a small sample of what you'll be able to play on PS TV starting next month:

  • Persona 4 Golden
  • God of War Collection
  • Killzone: Mercenary
  • FINAL FANTASY X / X-2 HD Remaster
  • Dragon’s Crown
  • Spelunky
  • FINAL FANTASY TACTICS: WAR OF THE LIONS
  • Metal Gear Solid
  • Patapon
  • Twisted Metal
  • Borderlands 2
  • Adventure Time: The Secret of the Nameless Kingdom

PlayStation TV supports a slew of games from the PlayStation Vita library as well as many PSone Classics. The console on its own will be priced at $99.99, but you'll be able to grab a bundle with a DualShock 3, an 8MB memory card, and The LEGO Movie Videogame for $139.99.
