Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty PC Performance Issues to Be Addressed in Update Soon

Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty was released on Xbox, PlayStation, and PC to excellent reviews, but PC players are disappointed by a port plagued with numerous performance issues. Fortunately, developer Team Ninja is preparing a patch that it claims will fix Wo Long’s PC performance issues.

Wo Long developers aim to fix PC camera control issues

Hours after Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty was available to play on all platforms, the developers acknowledged players’ issues on Twitter. The tweet only mentions the camera operation with the mouse problem, with the “other issues” left unclear.

The camera operation issue stated here regards the inclusion of controller dead zones into mouse movements. If a player moves their mouse too slowly, the camera will not move. This forces players to make fast movements to adjust their view. Alongside this, players and reviewers have noted that reaching a stable 60 FPS is impossible and that the game won’t detect a keyboard and mouse by default, forcing them to enable them in settings manually. These issues have resulted in a “Mostly Negative” rating on Steam.

There is no indication that the upcoming patch will solve issues beyond Wo Long’s PC performance, but the developers will announce further details on the patch as they become available. The tweet does not mention specific platforms for the patch, so bugs submitted by console players may also be fixed.

A new patch won’t help you beat the game’s first boss, however, and the Warthog boss is even tougher.
