Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate Nintendo Direct Airs This Week

Nintendo has announced that it will be streaming a new Nintendo Direct this Wednesday, November 8, and it's all about Capcom's Nintendo exclusive, Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate.

The broadcast is airing specifically for the Big N's audience in Japan, where the game is instead known as Monster Hunter 4G. The title doesn't launch on 3DS until 2015 for those of us outside of Japan, so it's not particularly surprising that we haven't heard of a similar Direct planned for other territories.

So, the rest of us western gamers are still left eagerly anticipating a new Nintendo Direct of our own. With the holiday season approaching and still no firm release date for Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, I'd imagine we'll be getting a one in the very near future.

Check back here Wednesday, as we'll be sure to share with you any interesting bits of news that may spill out of Nintendo's upcoming Japan-focused Direct all about Capcom's insanely popular monster-slaying series. If you feel so inclined, you can watch it live right here at 4am ET, 7am PT.
