The newest round of Media Create sales are out, showing Japanese hardware and software sales data for the week of October 27 to November 2. Sales all around are quite low, with most systems down compared to the same time last year; only the 3DS hit respectable numbers, probably due to the recent New 3DS launch. Software numbers are particularly horrible, with only eight games reaching five digits. Only eight. In the whole country.
We all knew the PSP had a lot more market presence and a longer lifespan in Japan than abroad, and kinda expected the Xbox One to totally flop in the country, but in case we needed a recent demonstration, check this software sales chart:

Yeah, a visual novel on PSP more than doubled-up Sunset Overdrive. And Onechanbooba Z2 will, if this is any indication, probably go on to triple or quardruple it in lifetime Japanese sales.
