Game Pass January Games Add Resident Evil, Assassin’s Creed Games

As we begin 2024, many of you will be eager to see what Game Pass will be adding to its roster this month. Well, it looks like January is going to be a good one for all you Xbox and PC players, particularly those that like horror.

Plus, GTA 5 to leave this week

In a recent Xbox Wire post, the list of January 2024’s Game Pass titles have been revealed. Beginning on the 3rd (so yesterday, essentially), you’ll be able to check out Close to the Sun, a 2019 horror adventure set in an alternate version of 1897.

Then there’s the WW2 multiplayer FPS Hell Let Loose, which was published by Worms studio Team17 in 2021. This will be available from today.

However, the biggest names on this list are undoubtedly Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla and the remake of Resident Evil 2. These will be available on Xbox Game Pass from January 9 and January 16, respectively.

For a bit more horror, there’s also We Happy Few, the creepy and somewhat BioShock-inspired dystopian first-person game developed by Compulsion Games.

Other titles coming this month include: Figment (January 9), Super Mega Baseball 4 (January 11), and Those That Remain (January 16). There’s also a 10% discount for subscribers on the Chucky update for Dead by Daylight.

On top of that, there are updates for Hello Neighbor 2 and Sea of Thieves, which are available now.

As for what’s leaving Game Pass, sadly, Grand Theft Auto 5 will no longer be available from tomorrow. Additionally, Garden Story, MotoGP 22, Persona 4 Golden, and Persona 3 Portable will all be leaving the Xbox service on January 15.
