Telltale’s Game of Thrones Detailed, Begins During Season Three

After teasing Game of Thrones for several months on Twitter, Telltale has finally shined a light on some of the details for the game on its official blog.

Taking place between the start of Season 3 of the TV show to the beginning of the upcoming Season 5, this adjunct episodic series will feature House Forrester, a house embroiled in The War of the Five Kings and must "prevent the house from meeting its doom." You'll play five of the family members, one at a time, as its house attempts to survive through the ordeal. Though House Forrester isn't in the TV show, it's still canon in George R. R. Martin's "A Dance with Dragons."

Beyond Ironrath, the castle housing House Forrester, you'll visit the gorgeous but corrupt King's Landing and The Wall in the North. House Forrester, loyal to the Starks, believe in the motto "Iron from Ice," inspired by the resilient ironwoods on their land. However, its rivals, House Whitehill, feel slighted that most of the ironwoods rests in their territory.

Considering that we know what happens at the end of season 3, we'll see whether you can steer House Forrester on the path of, well, existence.
