343 Industries Releases Content Update to Address Matchmaking Issues

Halo’s introduction to the eighth generation hasn’t been the all-around smoothest, but 343 Industries is hard at work to find solutions to the issues at hand. Via their blog, 343 announced a content update for Halo: The Master Chief Collection designed to address some of the issues dogging the remastered classic for Xbox One.

According to 343 Industries’ post, the target of the content update released Wednesday focuses on some of the complaints regarding matchmaking. After downloading, players should find matches starting once minimum player counts are met, fewer players being warped to another player’s lobby instead of the matchmaking screen, and fewer non-actionable error messages, bad session starts, and false matches.

343 says they’re also working on issues regarding team balance, which will be the focus of their next content update, slated to release next week.
