Pokemon Legends Z-A Pokedex Criticism

Pokemon Legends: Z-A Pokedex Has Players Underwhelmed

Some players feel like the Pokedex in Pokemon Legends: Z-A is sparse compared to other full-price games. There has been general criticism of the game’s lack of content and repetitive nature, especially given the $70 price tag. While some fans find this to be unimportant, there is some merit to the complaint, at least as far as raw numbers are concerned.

The list of Pokemon in Legends: Z-A is surprisingly sparse for a full-price game

There are 230 catchable Pokemon in Legends: Z-A, which is comparable to the 241 in Legends: Arceus. However, both Sword and Shield and Scarlet and Violet debuted with 400 catchable Pokemon, which has led some to feel that they’re not getting enough bang for their buck. Additionally, Z-A is being criticized for its repetitive environments and lack of post-game content.

Fortunately, Z-A’s Pokedex will expand when the Mega Dimension DLC launches next year. However, many consider the $30 price tag for the DLC steep, and they think the base game should have included that content.
