SimCity 2000 Special Edition Available Free on Origin

Ah, SimCity 2000. One of the classics. Released nearly 20 years ago on February 7, 1995, SimCity 2000 Special Edition laid the groundwork for a 3D SimCity title on PC.

This Special Edition (aka the CD Collection) includes all of the expansions, remade music, and a slew of extra content. It even had movies. Oh, wow. That means having four additional videos with commentary by Will Wright via the in-game WillTV app.

But enough about burying the lead. SimCity 2000 Special Edition is now free on Origin via the platform's "On The House" program. Even you don't care about SimCity, you might as well put it in your catalog, unless you've magically staved off having an Origin account.
