There seems to be a huge change coming to OnlyFans, where creators will soon be able to livestream from their own POV. The Mentra Live Camera Glasses are being explicitly marketed for livestreaming, with the company listing OnlyFans as one of the platforms where users can livestream. This means the adult site could now receive a major update.
OnlyFans creators can now livestream on smart glasses
The Mentra Live Camera Glasses, a pair of smart glasses marketed specifically for livestreaming, are almost ready to debut. The company claims the glasses will record and livestream at 1080p.
Mentra has listed that users can use the glasses for sites like X, YouTube, Twitch, and OnlyFans (via Gizmodo). While the other sites do not raise an eyebrow, the glasses being compatible with OnlyFans may significantly change the game on the platform. Many creators may want to use this new POV livestreaming for a whole new experience.
While there is no specific integration with OnlyFans in the glasses, it is open source, which means it can potentially work with many different sites. This is one of the added advantages over other smart glasses, which are otherwise limited in their capabilities, especially when it comes to integration with various sites.
These smart glasses, however, do not have a display. So, it can be used by creators on OnlyFans, but not for consuming content on the platform. Mentra says this is an intentional choice that helps the battery’s longevity.
The company has further added that the glasses will be compatible with the Mentra MiniApp Store. This will give users access to apps that offer features such as live translation, memory games, calendar integration for reminders, and more.
The Mentra Live Camera Glasses cost $299 and will start shipping on February 15, 2026.
