Street Fighter 6 & Energy Drink Brand Debuts ‘Drinkable Cards’

In the build-up to the upcoming live-action Street Fighter movie, a popular Japanese snack and beverage company has launched a unique set of drinkable cards that feature characters from the Street Fighter 6 game. The cards not only function as precious collectibles for fans of the iconic video game franchise but also contain energy drinks that users can consume on the go.

Street Fighter 6 and energy drink brand team up for ‘drinkable’ cards

UHA Mikakuto, a consumable product brand in Japan, has joined forces with Capcom to launch a line of drinkable cards, designed with Street Fighter 6 art. Unlike standard energy drink bottles or cans, users can simply snap open the said cards with one hand and enjoy their contents.

The company announced that the Street Fighter cards will be part of a new caffeine-free energy drink line via an official press release. In the public update, UHA Mikakuto described the product as a “card-type smart energy-boosting tool.” It also explained its motivation behind coming up with such an innovation by stating, “When playing games, taking an exam, in a meeting, or driving a car, in situations that require concentration, many people face the challenge of refueling, which equates to a break in concentration.”

“Energy Arts addresses this issue by thoroughly pursuing the goal of ‘an effortless way to replenish energy.’ Simply pick it up, snap it open with one hand, and suck it up. The series of actions of ‘opening, holding, drinking, putting it away’ has been eliminated as much as possible,” the release further read.

The Street Fighter 6 drinkable cards officially went on sale in Japan on January 23, 2026. While the cards may belong in the ‘single-time use category,’ the Street Fighter artwork featured on them makes the collectibles a must-have for fans of the video game. Notably, all 23 characters from the 2023 video game have their place on individual packaging.
