In a testament to the boundless creativity of fans, a passionate Pokémon collector has crafted an exclusive LEGO Badge box set. The intricate build rivals the official releases in its attention to detail and charm. The fan-made badge box has sparked excitement among Pokémon and LEGO aficionados alike, with many eagerly awaiting a glimpse into the making of the extraordinary tribute.
Pokémon fan debuts custom LEGO Badge Box before its release
LEGO’s Pokémon partnership sparked massive hype, finally confirming the first-ever official LEGO Pokémon sets after years of anticipation.
Following the official announcement, the initial pre-order period was marked by intense demand. Both the LEGO and Pokémon Centre websites experienced heavy traffic and lengthy queues. Fans eagerly secured their purchases, particularly the exclusive Pokémon Badge Box, available only with the Starter Set. The exclusive item sparked major buzz, and its limited availability fueled fan frenzy.
However, it seems like a die-hard Pokémon fan is ahead of the game, building a custom Badge Box set from the upcoming crossover. Leaving fellow enthusiasts in awe, a Reddit user has showcased their custom LEGO Pokémon Badge Box online. They built it after studying official promo images.
Explaining the reason behind taking on the project, the user wrote, “I was a bit disappointed that you couldn’t buy the Pokémon Badge Box on its own, so I reverse-engineered it from the official images and built my own, with some modifications, of course. Hope y’all like it!”
Responding to the post, fans flooded the comments with praise, blown away by the build’s accuracy and clever tweaks.
“Love yours! Looks like you got the needed parts to do the rainbow badge correctly! Well done!” one user commented. “This is Awesome! I’d build it!” echoed another. Moreover, some even preferred it over the official release, with a third user saying, “I like it better than the official one. Would love if you could put instructions on rebrickable!”
As demand grew, the builder of the Pokémon Badge Box didn’t gatekeep the process and shared instructions and a parts list, opening it up for others to recreate.
Meanwhile, the official first LEGO Pokémon sets, including the Badge Box, will be available for immediate purchase from February 27, 2026, both online and offline.
