Caviar announces Apple iPhone 17 Pro Steve Jobs edition
Caviar, the renowned luxury customization brand, has unveiled the latest Apple iPhone 17 Pro, a bespoke masterpiece that pays homage to the visionary Steve Jobs. Combining high-end customization with Apple’s cutting-edge tech, the collaboration has birthed a unique device that epitomizes innovation and elegance.
As per Caviar’s official website, the Apple iPhone 17 Pro “Steve Jobs Edition” is a luxurious tribute to Apple’s co-founder. The exclusive device features a fragment of Steve Jobs’ iconic black turtleneck embedded in the Apple logo. Additionally, it sports a silver and black palette inspired by the 2007 original.
Per Caviar, Jobs’ turtleneck detailing “elevates the smartphone into a museum-worthy collector’s piece, where Apple’s technological legacy meets a tangible trace of the man who shaped its destiny.” Moreover, the device’s aesthetics will have modifications inspired by the first iPhone 2G.
The phone also features “50th Anniversary Edition” lettering, Jobs’ signature on the frame, a custom lock screen, and a collector’s box. Only nine units are available, showcasing Apple’s commitment to exclusivity with prices starting at $9,630 (256GB), $9,990 (512GB), and $10,340 (1TB).
Furthermore, Caviar’s anniversary collection offers more affordable luxury options: the Black Apple (50 units, $6,320) and Gold Apple (50 units, $7,650), delivering high-end customizations without the hefty price tag.
For those unaware, Steve Jobs, Apple’s co-founder, was iconic for wearing blue jeans and a black turtleneck on-stage. The signature look eventually became so synonymous with Apple that even some Chinese brands copied it. Hence, Caviar notes that the embedded turtleneck piece merges Apple’s tech legacy with Jobs’ legacy, creating a collector’s item.
Notably, the Apple iPhone 17 Pro Steve Jobs edition marks Caviar’s second collaboration featuring Steve Jobs memorabilia. Their 2020 iPhone 12 variant, which also incorporated fabric fragments, was priced at $6,000. The 60% price increase reflects both inflation and the escalating demand among affluent collectors for tangible connections to technological heritage.
The much-awaited device launches on Apple’s 50th anniversary on April 1, 2026.
