Buy, Try, Die: May 2015 Release List

May, as it is the month before E3, doesn't have too many releases, which is why it's perfect for CD Projekt Red's The Witcher 3. I haven't played any of the Witcher games yet (still in my stack of shame), but even I'm psyched to explore its massive world and stand in awe at Geralt's facial hair on ultra settings. Ooo…

But it's not all crickets. The standalone Wolfenstein: The Old Blood and the racing simulator Project CARS fills the first week of May, along with the first fully Kickstarted title High Strangeness and SMT: Devil Survivor 2 for 3DS.

The tail-end of the month has Puzzle & Dragons Z + Super Mario Bros. Edition, which I can already tell will be a huge timesink, as well as Nintendo's own playful shooter Splatoon.

Still, The Witcher 3 will own this month and you'll see all of the gaming sites (us included) doing widespread coverage with guides, features, side-by-side graphical comparisons, previews, reviews, etc. We'll sneak it a bit of E3 in there too.
