Yakuza 0 PC

This Week’s Game Releases: Yakuza 0 PC, Salt and Sanctuary Switch, and More

This week there aren’t too many new video game releases to write home about. Instead, there are a bunch of old games being introduced to new platforms, such as Yakuza 0 appearing on PC and Salt and Sanctuary making its way to the Nintendo Switch. Let’s take a look at all of this week’s game releases.

Yakuza 0 PC (Buy It Now)

Yakuza 0 PC Review Majima Fight

Release Date: July 31, 2018

Platform: PC

We loved Yakuza 0 on the PC, branding it the definitive version of the game and giving it an Editors’ Choice award in the process. If you’ve yet to pick it up, this should be more than enough to convince you to do so. The PC version introduces a bunch of visual and performance improvements, making it a must-buy for fans of the series or those who have to dive into Yakuza‘s wacky, wonderful world.

Salt and Sanctuary Switch

It’s surprising that out of the myriad Souls-like games, it is the 2D variations that have provided the most unique spin on the From Software format. Hollow Knight is one such example, with it having recently been released on the Nintendo Switch, and now Salt and Sanctuary follows in its footsteps. A 2D action RPG with a cast of giant, foreboding enemies to slay, Salt and Sanctuary is an interesting take on that ultra-challenging Dark Souls gameplay.

Release Date: August 2nd, 2018

Platforms: Nintendo Switch

South Park The Fractured But Whole – Bring The Crunch DLC (Buy It Now)

South Park The Fractured But Whole receives some new DLC in August, with Bring The Crunch introducing the animated series’ Bradley Biggle aka Mint-Berry Brunch. The DLC sees the kids of South Park traveling to Lake Tardicaca, though their vacation soon turns sour when their camp counselors go missing. It’s up to the gang of amateur heroes to save them in this brand new expansion.
