The GR Show | Pokemon Unite MOBA controversy, The Last of Us 2 reactions, and more

Pokemon Unite has been revealed, and its announcement was controversial to say the least. Now the most disliked video on Nintendo’s YouTube channel, fans hoping for Pokemon Let’s Go Johto were instead left with a Tencent-published MOBA that’s “free-to-start.” Plenty of Poke-fans have criticized the announcement, but in this week’s The GR Show we discuss why this is an excellent concept and an intriguing new spin-off.

Elsewhere in this week’s show, we discuss The Last of Us 2 and our final thoughts on it. We’re also joined by special guest PlayStationLifeStyle.net‘s Editor-in-Chief Chandler Wood, who offers his own take on the divisive community reactions to TLoU2, and why many had made up their mind on Naughty Dog’s sequel before playing it.

We also discuss the Crash Bandicoot 4 reveal, New Pokemon SnapSpongeBob: Rehydrated, and Star Wars: Squadrons.
