Anda Seat Fnatic Edition Review | For fans desiring ultimate comfort

ANDA SEAT FNATIC EDITION REVIEW. Combining comfort, good ergonomics, style, and tasteful esports team representation was always going to be a tricky task, but Anda Seat has managed to deliver a fantastic gaming chair with the Anda Seat Fnatic Edition.

Speed builder

Anda Seat Fnatic Edition Review

When it comes to gaming chairs, I never really know what to expect in the box. For budget chairs, there’s usually a big manual of instructions and a lot of bolts and screws to fiddle with. Therefore, I set aside a good hour to assemble the Anda Seat Fnatic Edition. However, it ended up only taking 20 minutes, and that was with me being careful.

Though the hefty box it arrives in isn’t very chair-shaped, the pieces are all ready to be bolted together with the included tools. The clear instructions are easy to follow and the chair quickly takes shape.

Being able to swiftly put the chair together definitely makes for a good first impression, especially as you begin to feel the quality of parts and materials used.

Once it’s put together, the sheer weight of this chair hits you. It’s over 30 kgs, which will be a surprise for those used to less-robust products. It’s that kind of weight that helps a product, especially a piece of furniture, ooze quality.

Feels like quality

Anda Seat Fnatic Edition Review

Speaking of quality, Anda Seat boasts about the “durable premium PVC leather” and “memory foam pillows” in its marketing for the Fnatic Edition Gaming Chair, and I will say that it all feels very premium to the touch and comfortable to sit in.

Whereas cheaper gaming chairs often use thinner materials that easily wear away, the Anda Seat Fnatic Edition feels like it will last for a long, long time. And the addition of the memory foam pillows helps to enhance both back and neck support.

Of course, there is also the Fnatic logo stitched into multiple parts of the chair. This honestly looks superb. If you’re a big Fnatic fan, then you’ll no doubt be proud to represent with this product.

But is it comfortable?

Anda Seat Fnatic Edition Review

Though aesthetics are important for gamers who want that “racing seat” look, being able to sit in a chair for hours on end ultimately comes down to great comfort and support.

I like to think of the Anda Seat Fnatic Edition as being a “two-in-one” chair. The first use is when sitting up straight for office work or PC gaming with a keyboard and mouse. The chair locks into position to keep you in a comfortable, but healthy, working position. The pillows come in handy here for targeting potential problem points at the lumbar region and neck.

The second use is for when you’re in a more relaxed state, for example when playing console games or watching a movie. Here’s where the ridiculous up to 160-degree recline allows the user to lie down almost fully horizontal.

Being able to easily switch between these different use cases is great and the chair feels safe and secure throughout.

Both me (6′ 7″) and my partner (5′ 10″) tested the chair. I have to admit that I underestimated just how big this “extra large size” chair would be, but I’m glad to report that both my partner and I could adjust it to our preference. We could both sit in a healthy position and make use of the reclining features with zero issues.

Taller folks may need to move the headrest pillow up to the top of the chair, but this is easily achieved and makes for a great neck support.

Pricing and warranty

Anda Seat Fnatic Edition Review

The Anda Seat Fnatic Edition comes in at $449.99 with free shipping. When looking at other premium gaming chairs, it seems like Anda Seat is right on the money with this price tag.

The Fnatic branding obviously helps to set it apart from the competition, and fans of that esports organization will be drawn towards this product because of it. However, there is also the benefit of the warranty for added peace of mind.

Anda Seat offers a lifetime warranty on the chair’s steel frame and six years for parts. While cheaper gaming chairs may seem like a good idea for that initial investment, the tendency for their materials to wear away more quickly and parts to break more easily can ultimately end up costing you more.

If you can afford to invest that bit extra in a chair that is built to last, with additional features that will assist with ergonomics and keeping you healthy, as well as giving comfort a boost with exaggerated recline functions, it’s seriously worth considering a more premium chair.

Anda Seat Fnatic Edition Review | The Final Verdict

Anda Seat Fnatic Edition Review

From the super simple build process to sitting in it for hours and hours at a time, I’ve thoroughly enjoyed having the Anda Seat in my office. Though its presence is certainly known, as it is a very large chair supporting “more than 441 lbs” of weight, the adjustable armrests make it easy to tuck away under my desks. The Fnatic branding represents the organization well, without being too gaudy. Even those unfamiliar with Fnatic will still be able to use and love this chair.

Overall, Anda Seat has released a competitively-priced gaming chair that ticks all the boxes in terms of comfort, while also tastefully satisfying the Fnatic fandom. If you’re considering a gaming chair for your setup, definitely add the Anda Seat Fnatic Edition to your shortlist!
