When it isn’t making full-coverage superhero-themed chairs or helping hardcore fans represent their favorite esports team, Anda Seat is busy producing some of the best gaming chairs that I’ve ever sat on. With the new Anda Seat Kaiser 3, magnets are being introduced to make attaching and removing different components that bit easier. Happily, for us larger folks, it’s available in XL sizing. Here is my Anda Seat Kaiser 3 XL review.
Every little helps
Anda Seat continues to make the build process simpler and easier to follow. This time around, the company has made it easier to line up the various parts before bolting them together. Even chair-building newbies should have the Kaiser 3 XL built in under 15 minutes. The quick-and-easy build process certainly makes for a great first impression, even if it’s only something users have to do the one time.
When it’s all set up, the Anda Seat Kaiser 3 XL makes its presence known. It is a reassuringly large chair, looking the part for a seat that’s rated to support up to 6’8″ in height and 400 lbs in weight. I come in at 6’7 and 220 lbs, which fulfills at least part of the limit. Though it’s a big chair, it can still be tucked beneath a desk thanks to the adjustable height of both the seat and armrests.
But what about the magnets?!
Okay, so where do the magnets factor into this? Well, in quite a few places, actually. First, there’s the magnetic head pillow, which users can simply slap on and pull off as desired. This memory foam pillow is also cool to the touch, which has been greatly appreciated during the hot summer days. Next, there are the magnetic swap armrests, which can be swapped out for a tray (sold separately). Finally, there’s the “MagClap” easy assembling system, which is really just a fancy name for the magnetic covers that “clap” onto each side of the chair to hide the bolts.
Looking past the magnets, the Kaiser 3 enjoys a built-in four-way lumbar support which, despite the slightly awkward controls, is great for finding the perfect amount of support. The seat base has been overhauled to be more spacious and supportive, which will be great for those with wider body shapes. The backrest has also been widened a little and that all-important recline supports up to 165 degrees. (Please be careful not to throw yourself backwards in this chair, especially if you’re closing in on that 400 lbs weight limit!)
Subtle with style
Though there are many other noteworthy features boasted by the Kaiser 3, I want to focus on the color and material options that are available. While I prefer the linen fabric material for breathability and I’d strongly recommend it to any fellow warm-bodied users, I must say that I’m impressed by the number of PVC leather color choices. These range from the simple “Cloudy White” and “Elegant Black” to the “Robin Egg Blue” and “Blaze Orange.” I also love the look of the “Bentley Brown” and “Classic Maroon” options, which look quite sophisticated.

Final Verdict
With an RRP of $549 (though it’s currently on sale for $399 up until November 30), the Anda Seat Kaiser 3 XL sits itself amongst competitors like the Secretlab Titan Evo 2022 Series. In fact, the Kaiser 3 shares a lot in common with Secretlab’s range of chairs, which, from a consumer’s point of view, certainly isn’t a bad thing!
Overall, the Kaiser 3 XL is my new favorite Anda Seat chair, particularly in the Linen Fabric material. If you’re a larger person, whether that’s in terms of height, weight, or a bit of both, I’d highly recommend checking this product out.
