The NZXT Lift Elite Wireless is another of the company’s “Elite” products, marking a significant refresh that hones in on the current trends and modern gamer desires. This makes it a real contender, at least on paper. This mouse is ultra lightweight, has a capable sensor, optical switches, and up to 8K polling rate. But how has it fared during my real-world testing? This is my review.
Wonderfully light
As mentioned in the intro, the Lift Elite Wireless doesn’t mess around when it comes to specs. The 57 gram weight is a huge win for NZXT here, as is the PixArt PAW3395 sensor, which supports polling rates up to 8,000 Hz when plugged in and 4,000 Hz wirelessly.
The optical switches are another impressive feature. They feel great and are robust with a lifespan of 100 million clicks. They are the modern go-to and it’s great to see NZXT keeping up with the competition.
Comfortable, too

Some would say that a mouse is only good if it is comfortable. I’m happy to say that the NZXT Lift Elite Wireless mirrors a common mouse shape for a tried-and-true grip. The texture of the materials is solid, too, and I’ve had no issues with getting a good grip.
What could be improved?

While the Lift Elite Wireless is mostly a huge win for NZXT, there are some aspects that I’d love to see improved. Firstly, the battery life when using the 4,000 Hz wireless is surprisingly short. This might be necessary to achieve the low weight, but it’s still worth noting.
My other issue with this mouse is the location of the DPI button. The underside of the mouse is in an unusual position. For those who like to switch DPIs for different scenarios — for example when moving between a first-person character and a third-person vehicle — the bottom placement makes this super inconvenient.

Final Verdict
At $79.99, the NZXT Lift Elite Wireless offers solid value for a feature-packed gaming mouse. With strong performance, a lightweight build, and modern specs, it stands out in a competitive space. While there are a couple of quirks that might not suit everyone, it’s still a compelling choice for most gamers.
