E3: PC or rather about the lack of it

E3 2013 has been very silent for me. There's tons of media, but most of it buzzes past my ears without them catching the important keyword that my ears are fine tuned to receive: "PC" or "Personal Computer". Microsoft, Sony, EA and Ubisoft have all shown their cards...

$1,300 Premium Edition For Resident Evil 6

Posted on Wednesday, April 11 @ 06:02:48 Eastern by

Got somethin' that might interest ya'?

Capcom Japan has featured an almost obscenely expensive Premium Edition for Resident Evil 6 on their e-Capcom site. The total package costs 105,000 yen or about $1,300US! For many people, that's like their life savings (likely more).

Beyond the Xbox 360 or PS3 copy of the game, it comes with four tablet covers of Leon Kennedy, Chris Refield, Jake Muller, and an unknown character, plus the real big-ticket item: a Leon Kennedy leather jacket. At that price, I would rather buy Chuck Green's Kadoya Jacket for $274.95, but there are probably a few fans who have no trouble showering cash all over Capcom.

Bumped up from November, Resident Evil 6 releases on October 4th in Japan and October 6th in North America.

Looks like this year will be a race to see who can make the most expensive super limited edition bundles. It's sad because these companies know someone will fork over the money to buy it.

I'd much rather have his RE4 bomber jacket or just this jacket alone. Either way, not gonna buy it.

Upon further investigation each tablet has something special inside of it. When you buy the resident 6 game normally you are suppose to get a tablet from an outlet and it's suppose to be random. This is sort of like the minifigures with the randomize results. Suppose to be high grade or something and the "Secret" tablet is suppose to have something inside of it that you can't get no where else but in that.

For every step forward to a better overall video game experience some companies take 3 steps back.
I took a few steps back after reading this, stood back in sheer awe of the bullshit.
