Journey Releases On PSN This March

thatgamecompany has developed some of the most interesting and most moving games on the PlayStation Network. Flower, in particular, is deeply relaxingthe complete opposite of what most games aim for. They hope to invoke similar feelings with Journey, which they have revealed will be releasing on March 13th on PSN.

thatgamecompany describes Journey as an "interactive parable, an anonymous online adventure to experience a person’s life passage and their intersections with others". I'm glad they cleared that up, because even after I played it, I couldn't quite explain what was going on. There's definitely a sensation of being alone and anonymous, and a sense of discovery and wonder. There's no spoken word, no goals to speak of, and instinct is all that's left to guide you.

Expect Journey to draw a line in the sand and make waves when it releases on March 13th.
