ARMS Is Joining EVO Japan 2018’s Lineup

Now that this year’s EVO Championship Series has come to a close, many eSports fans are wondering what next year’s show will include. Thankfully, the organization behind EVO didn’t waste any time with confirming details.

EVO 2017 will be host in Tokyo, Japan from January 26th to the 28th. The following games will be included:

  • Tekken 7
  • Guilty Gear Xrd Rev 2
  • King of Fighters XIV
  • BlazBlue Central Fiction
  • Super Smash Bros. for Wii U
  • ARMS
  • Street Fighter V

ARMS is the big addition for next year, giving Nintendo a major presence at the event. Though this is a big win, it’s surprising that Splatoon 2 hasn’t been given similar attention.

Some fans have been surprised by the list missing Marvel vs Capcom and Injustice, likely caused by their lack of popularity in Japan.
