Activision Releases Black Ops II Patch For PS3

It's no secret that the PlayStation 3 version of Call of Duty: Black Ops II has fallen victim to a number of infuriating issues. From game freezes to server issues and even broken DLC codes, I'm sure many PlayStation loyalists are beginning to regret their purchase.

Fortunately, Activision has just released a patch that deals with those pesky freezing problems… well, most of them anyway. Apparently some users are still reporting issues to which the publisher has replied by saying: "we are doing everything we can to get to the bottom of it as quickly as possible.”

Have any of you downloaded the patch yet? If so, has it solved the issue for you? Let us know in the comments below.
