Keighley Teases “Amazing VGA Announcement” For Old-School Gamers

Nothing is more exciting than a new game announcement… well, except for not knowing what it is.

Geoff Keighley just posted the following on his Twitter account:

Have an amazing VGA announcement coming together for old-school gaming fans….this one is very special to me personally.

As mentioned during interviews, Keighley's favorite games are Day of the Tentacle and Monkey Island 2, both of which don't appear to fit into the context of a big VGA announcement. He's also a professed fan of Valve, but none of their work can necessarily be considered "old-school".

Unfortunately, we're left waiting for the VGAs to find out what he's talking about, and they aren't until the 7th of December. Until then, we can create hope for our favorite games like we always do, only to end up disappointed.

So, what do you want it to be?
