The Walking Dead Final Season Store Removal

The Walking Dead Final Season Store Removal: When Will The Walking Dead Final Season be Back on Sale?

The Walking Dead: The Final Season has been pulled from digital stores by developer Telltale Games. The final chapter in Clementine’s saga is no longer available to buy after Telltale removed it from sale. The company explained that it didn’t feel it was appropriate to sell the game’s Season Pass with the final two episodes potentially not seeing the light of day. So when can we expect to see The Walking Dead Final Season store removal end?

The Walking Dead Final Season Store Removal – When Will it be Back on Sale?

Right now, nobody knows. The Walking Dead Final Season store removal was down to Telltale’s decision to not short change its fans by keeping the $20 season pass available to purchase. This is a shrewd move from the company, as keeping it up would likely lead to further outrage from gamers who have no idea if they’ll get to play the final two episodes of Clementine’s story.

The Walking Dead Final Season Store Removal – What Other Reasons are Behind its Removal?

The fact that episodes are yet to be completed is another major reason behind The Walking Dead Final Season store removal. We’ve only seen two episodes, of the confirmed four, released so far, and even then the second episode – Suffer the Children – only came out on Tuesday. That’s five days after Telltales’ issues begun, and there’s been no official word on whether we’ll get the final two episodes, save for a small press release from Telltale.

They claim that they’re hopeful over finishing Clementine’s story but, with a skeleton crew of only 25 staff members, it could still not happen. For now, The Walking Dead Final Season store removal won’t be going anywhere, so if you missed your chance to buy the season pass, or the first two episodes, you could be in for a long wait to buy them now.
