Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night is out now, which is the long-awaited spiritual successor to Castlevania: Symphony of the Night from several members of the team behind the Castlevania games. Just like those games, it’s a 2D Metroidvania title, and it can be a tough one. Fortunately, developer ArtPlay has implemented a long list of Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night cheats. Here are all the cheat codes we know about for the game, and what some of them do.

In a recent Kickstarter post to celebrate the release of the game, the team released a couple of cheat codes for Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, with a note that “prominent YouTubers” had access to some of these cheat codes. Thanks to a few enterprising members of the Bloodstained community, there’s now a long list of Bloodstained cheats, along with what a number of them do.
You have to put the cheats in at the start of a save file, in place of the default name “Miriam,” so as such you can only use one per save file. Here’s the list in full, and you may notice some repeats between codes.
- 8MEGAPOWER – start with Game Sack Power Strip weapon ATK 15.

- Akuma – start with Dominus weapon.
