Why has Fortnite Marvel Knockout been removed?

The Fortnite Marvel Knockout limited time mode has been getting a lot of positive attention, with many players loving the ability to wield the powers of their favorite heroes, not to mention the insane amount of XP you can earn. However, all good things must come to a pause, it seems, with Epic Games having removed the new Marvel game mode from the game. Here’s our guide on why Fortnite Marvel Knockout has gone.

Why has the Marvel Knockout limited time mode gone from Fortnite?

Why has Fortnite Marvel Knockout been removed

The Marvel Knockout limited time mode has been removed from Fortnite due to “an issue.” Epic Games has temporarily disabled the new Marvel mode while a fix is worked on.

You can expect the Fortnite Marvel Knockout mode to be back online once that fix has been implemented. Until then, players will see the limited time mode as unavailable.

It’s a shame that the new Fortnite limited time mode has been disabled, as Marvel Knockout seemed to be going down well with players. With all players wielding superpowers, the matches were epic and explosive!

Here’s hoping Epic Games can get Marvel Knockout back online for eager players to enjoy. It’s certainly the cherry on top of an already epic superhero-themed season!

The official Fortnite Twitter account confirmed the problem, saying that “Marvel Knockout has been temporarily disabled while we investigate an issue.”

Players wanting to know the exact moment when Marvel Knockout is back online will want to follow @FortniteStatus and potentially turn on notifications.

Marvel Knockout was introduced in the new Fortnite 2.85 update. It was only a small part of the update, so be sure to check out the full list of patch notes here.

In other Fortnite news, it looks like Marvel’s Venom is set to make an appearance soon, with files uncovered by dedicated dataminers.
