YouTube personality ProJared allegedly sent explicit photos to fans through SnapChat, while also requesting them in return. Some fans came forward in response to the allegations, sharing NSFW images that ProJared allegedly sent them.
YouTube collective NormalBoots has cut ties with ProJared following the allegations made against the YouTuber. NormalBoots had previously parted ways with Jon “JonTron” Jafari,” who had made controversial comments during a livestream.
Fans of Battlefield Firestorm have voiced their frustrations after the battle royale mode has its Duos (two players) playlist removed. This is less than a month after the mode was added.
Claptrap voice actor David Eddings alleges that Gearbox CEO Randy Pitchford assaulted him in a hotel lobby during GDC 2017.
Gearbox Software is looking into the claims made by David Eddings, saying that it “takes any and all claims of this nature very seriously and [it] will abstain from commenting on the allegations Dave is making because it is a personnel matter.”
Game Workers Unite has put out a call for testimonies regarding potential sexual harassment at the Quantic Dream studio. GWU has been “informed of acts of sexual harassment and sexual assault committed against women who work and have worked in the company.”
