Far Cry 5 Patch Notes: What Has Changed, What Has Been Fixed

You may have been too busy blowing up half of Hope County with Boomer to notice that Far Cry 5 has undergone some changes with Title Update 4. From a big boost to co-op connectivity to improvements to Far Cry 5 Arcade matchmaking and everything else in between, it’s all here in the Far Cry 5 patch notes.

Far Cry 5 Patch Notes: What Has Changed

The Far Cry 5 patch notes were revealed over on the Ubisoft forum by Community Manager Dominik Voigt. The full list of changes are below:

Stability & Performance

  • Fixed low occurrence crashes and walkthrough breaks
  • Additional quality bug fixes
  • Fixed low occurrence save corruption

Companion, Enemy, & Animal AI

  • Fixed low repro AI issues

Design & Mission Progression

  • Fixed issues preventing silver bar purchase
  • Fixed minor bugs

Gameplay & UI

  • Fixed minor bugs

COOP and Online

  • Improved COOP connectivity
  • Fixed low occurrence COOP specific walkthrough breaks
  • Fixed voice communication issue where players could be permanently muted
  • Hurk was blowing up the client player when in a helicopter, fixed that.

Far Cry Arcade

  • Improved map download efficiency
  • Fixed various Arcade gameplay issues
  • Fixed issue where map textures would be extremely low
  • Improved PVP matchmaking
  • Fixed lobby loadout selection and map selection issues

Map Editor

  • Fixed issue with Arcade Editor crashes

PC Patch Only:

  • Fixed issues that were causing incorrect spawn if the game was minimized during loading

Far Cry 5 Patch Notes: When Is It Coming to Consoles

While the Far Cry 5 patch notes reveal that Title Update 4 is now live on PC, Xbox One and PS4 users will have to wait a little while longer for their trek through Montana to get some extra spit and polish. The Far Cry 5 update is currently scheduled to come to consoles on April 9.
