This week, for August 17, the Xur location is on Io. Simply spawn in the Giant’s Scar area and you’ll be able to head directly towards the wormy dude. As this is Destiny 2, players have a much easier time of finding Xur, as a quick activation of the mini-map will show the “IX” symbol of the Nine. Head there and you’ll find Xur hanging out.

Bungie has chosen a start time that, hopefully, works well for most major western regions. (Sorry everbody else!) Xur will show up starting at 10 a.m. PT/1 p.m. ET/6 p.m. BST. He’ll remain there for four days, up until August 21 when the weekly reset button gets hit at, again, at 10 a.m. PT/1 p.m. ET/6 p.m.

This week, August 10, the Xur location is a familar one. The Agent of the Nine is found at the Tower, just chilling at the back of the hangar. To find him in the area, head up a flight of stairs and he’ll be hugging (not literally, that’d be weird) the back rail.

No, not until four days later on August 14 when the weekly reset button gets hit at, again, 10 a.m. Pacific/1 p.m. Eastern/6 p.m. BST and the Agent of the Nine goes on his merry way, not to return until the Friday. It’s like clockwork, only with more bullets.

Despite the recent Solstice of Heroes event, nothing has changed in terms of Xur’s start time. He will arrive every Friday like clockwork, and August 3 is no different. Expect the Agent of the Nine to show up in his given location at 10 a.m. Pacific/1 p.m. Eastern/6 p.m. BST. He also leaves at that exact time every Tuesday with the weekly reset. Once again, that’s August 7 at 10 a.m. Pacific/1 p.m. Eastern/6 p.m. BST

- Sanguine Alchemy (Warlock Armor) – 23 Legendary Shards
- Dragon’s Shadow (Hunter Armor) – 23 Legendary Shards
- Hallowfire Heart (Titan Chest Armor) – 23 Legendary Shards
- Skyburner’s Oath (Scout Rifle) – 29 Legendary Shards
Xur is also selling a pair of other items that will help you pick up Exotics. The Fated Engram will set you back a whopping 97 Legendary Shards but you’ll be given a guaranteed Exotic that you’ve never owned before. Pretty nifty.
A slightly cheaper option for Exotics also comes in the form of the Three of Coins item. That’ll cost you 31 Legendary Shards and will give you a temporary four-hour window in which the Exotic drop rate will increase exponentially for all activities.
