Destiny 2 Hotfix 1.2.3.2 Patch Notes: What’s Changed in the August 13 Update?

A new Destiny 2 hotfix has just landed. While the majority of players won’t be effected and, indeed, will barely notice a change to their game, Bungie’s patch has helped fix a niggling Solstice of Heroes bug that has plagued users who were looking to upgrade their armor before the event ended on August 28. Listed below is everything the Destiny 2 hotfix 1.2.3.2 (phew) covers.

Destiny 2 Hotfix 1.2.3.2 Patch Notes: What’s Changed in the August 13 Update?

Honestly? Not much, hence the elongated Destiny 2 version number. This is one of the most minor updates the game will receive, but it’s a crucial one. It is essentially an emergency patch to solve an issue wherein certain players were “blocked” from being able to fully upgrade their armor at the State of Heroes during the Solstice of Heroes event.

Destiny 2 Hotfix 1.2.3.2 Update: Statue of Heroes Bug

Though it may have passed the majority of users by, the Statue of Heroes bug originated in Destiny 2 at the beginning of August and was a error that meant, despite equipping full sets of armor before talking to the Statue of Heroes, you would be unable to fully upgrade your armor set.

Destiny 2 Hotfix 1.2.3.2 Update: Patch Notes

The official Bungie site’s weekly feature “This Week At Bungie” has the lowdown on everything you need to know about the Destiny 2 hotfix, in which the developers state:

“Players who were in this blocked state prior to Hotfix 1.2.3.2 will be able to resolve their issue by interacting with the Statue of Heroes in the Tower once this hotfix has been installed. Please be aware that this hotfix will cause the “Solstice of Heroes” milestone to linger for previously affected players, even after their Solstice Armor is upgraded completely. No rewards will be missed, and this message will disappear when Solstice of Heroes concludes on August 28.”
