Epic Games has released the latest Fortnite Emote, and it’s called the Fortnite Dance Therapy Emote. It’s a pretty rad dance emote, with some unconventional dance moves, which seem to be weirdly familiar, accompanied by funky music. Everyone loves a dance emote, and this is going to be no different. Read on below to find out how to get the Fortnite Dance Therapy Emote.
Fortnite Dance Therapy Emote: What is the Fortnite Dance Therapy Emote?
Just like the Fortnite Default Dance Emote, the Fortnite Dance Therapy Emote seems to have been inspired or based on an existing iconic dance. Some gamers have pointed out that it looks suspiciously similar to the dance performed by Kevin Bacon in the classic musical movie Footloose, which was originally released in 1984. Take a look at the Kevin Bacon warehouse dance that could possibly have inspired the Fortnite Dance Therapy Emote (Start paying attention about 1 minute 55 seconds into the video)
Now compare that with the Fortnite Dance Therapy Emote. Although the music used is clearly different, it does look to have copped some dance moves from that scene. However, this remains mere speculation on our part, based on our observations, so we might have to wait for an official confirmation from Epic Games. Check out the official announcement for the Fortnite Dance Therapy Emote below, which was tweeted by the official Fortnite Twitter account earlier today.

Fortnite Dance Therapy Emote: How to Get the Fortnite Dance Therapy Emote
It’s simple enough for Fortnite players to get their hands on the Dance Therapy Emote. They don’t have to complete any difficult challenges just to unlock the dance emote. The only thing that they have to do is head on over to the Fortnite Item Shop and search for the Dance Therapy Emote. Seeing as it is an Epic Emote, it won’t be cheap. It costs 800 V-bucks. Cough up some of your hard-earned V-bucks and you’re well on your way to dance like legendary outlaw Kevin Bacon in Footloose. Be quick, though, as it’ll soon leave the Item Shop and it may be some while before it returns into rotation.
